Previously I just posted music I love on this page, but now I'm going to write a little something once in a while. It's still going to be mostly music still.

I'm doing my last DJ gig ever tomorrow at Fritz Corner/Lilla Hotell Baren in Stockholm. I'm gonna play this on repeat:

and this:

Contrasts are good! A DJ should never play the same stuff all night... You got to stir it up a little bit.

So, some news. I've been working on a font for a while. Tried a million different styles and shapes, and it finally starts to be something now. Have a look HERE.

I've been a fan of this woman, Cary Ann Hearst, for years. I came in contact with her in 2006 and she's the sweetest person. Really talented, hard-working and friendly. And it seems like things are finally happening for her! She had a song on the latest True Blood episode and I hope she takes over the world now. You go C.A!

Though I have much love for Tim Buckley and the original, I love this version of the song more. It gives me goose bumps on the thighs.

I'm usually not into the "oh I'm a lonely chick by the piano and I'm SO emotional"-type of music, the kind that played in the background when someone was sad in Dawson's Creek. But once a year there's a song that I (secretly) love. Here's this year's cheese-fest. But damn, this girl is so good.

Christina Perri > Jar Of Hearts (2010)

Here's how I feel inside when I hear it, but in a good way:

I just now, a few minutes ago, saw this video. I've listen to the song thousands of times. I always thought Joe Jackson was this big, black, Barry White-lookin' dude... Apparently not. He looks more like Phil Collins skinny cousin. I feel confused.

I'm really into opera at the moment. I grew up with classical music and liked it as a kid. Then Kurt Cobain entered my life and I forgot all about it for a while. This was, and is up to this date, one of
my absolute favorite pieces.

So, what's been going on lately? I've been featured at CSS Design (search: Karin Idering) with my portfolio, which is great news! I've been chillin' in the sun for a few days, taking a mini vacation after the spring term at Hyper Island ended. But now I'm back on track and back at work. So... Let's GO!
